Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre, Tinley Park's 28,000- seat outdoor concert venue at 19100 S. Ridgeland Avenue, is the place to be in August if you want to see some of the biggest acts on Planet Earth!
Fans will want to check out pop/rock band Train at 6:45 p.m. Friday Aug. 7, as well as southern rock legends Lynyrd Skynyrd at 6:30 p.m. Saturday Aug. 15. If you're in the mood for something a bit heavier, see metal band Five Finger Death Punch at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, and pop metal masters Motley Crue at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22. Party in the Plaza
For a more intimate yet still expansive outdoor music experience, come to Harmony Square at 6700 North Street for some local flavor! We'll have three Music in the Plaza concerts from 7 to 10 p.m. this August, including classic pop and rock music from the '70s and '8-s by Hoodwink'd on Saturday, Aug. 8; a variety of feel-good tunes from the Walk-Ins on Saturday, Aug. 15; and a CHris Stapleton tribute band Tennessee Whiskey on Saturday, Aug. 22.
Opening Acts Summer Concert Series
Be sure to stop by Banging Gavel near the plaza at 17400 S. Oak Park Avenue for a pre-Music in the Plaza concert including Bandolier from 3 ot 6 p.m. Aug. 8, Brews and Jams from 2 to 7 p.m. Aug. 15, and Syahi from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 22.
